Ukraine strikes Tamanneftegaz oil terminal, Black Sea Fleet vessels, and multiple command posts in overnight operation
Ukraine’s General Staff said Ukrainian forces struck multiple Russian military and energy infrastructure targets across occupied territories and inside Russia over May 23–24, including the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Krasnodar Krai and the Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk. A loading arm at the terminal was damaged, and the patrol ship Pytlivy and a missile hovercraft were hit at the naval base. The strikes also targeted ammunition depots, UAV command posts, and troop concentrations in several regions.
Ukraine’s General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces struck multiple Russian military and energy infrastructure targets across occupied territories and inside Russia over May 23–24, including the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Volna, Krasnodar Krai, and the Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk.
A marine loading arm at the Tamanneftegaz terminal was damaged in the strike, the General Staff said. The terminal has an annual capacity of up to 20 million tonnes of crude and petroleum products and is one of Russia’s key Black Sea export oil facilities, used to support Russia’s military supply system.
At the Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk, the patrol ship Pytlivy and a missile hovercraft were damaged. The extent of damage to the vessels is still being assessed, the General Staff said.
Ukrainian forces also struck ammunition storage sites in Mizhhiria in occupied Crimea, as well as logistics and ammunition depots and a fuel and lubricants storage site near Bilolutsk in Luhansk Oblast, according to the statement.
UAV command and control points were hit in Borisivka in Russia’s Belgorod Oblast, Voskresenka in occupied Donetsk Oblast, and Tetkino in Kursk Oblast. Additional strikes targeted troop concentrations near Volfynskyi in Kursk Oblast.
The strikes are part of a broader Ukrainian campaign against Russian fuel, logistics, naval, and command infrastructure in occupied territories and inside Russia, aimed at disrupting supply chains and reducing Moscow’s ability to sustain operations against Ukraine.
