Russian drone strikes on two districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on 10 May injured a 23-year-old rescue worker and a three-year-old girl, regional authorities said, with the attacks occurring during a so-called truce that Moscow had declared.
In the Myrove hromada of the Nikopol district, Russian forces attacked a fire engine with a drone as the crew was en route to assist local residents, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported. The driver, a 23-year-old rescuer, was injured in the strike and taken to hospital.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram that Russian forces also struck the city of Nikopol and the Marhanets community in the Nikopol district. In the Synelnykove district, strikes targeted the Ukrainske and Bohynivka hromadas.
Infrastructure was damaged in the attacks. A three-year-old girl was injured and taken to hospital in moderate condition, Hanzha said.
The attacks took place on the night of 9-10 May while a so-called truce was in effect, Hanzha noted.
