On [month and day], Wang Shouwen, the International Trade Representative and Vice Minister, met with Jon Moeller, the Global Chairman, President, and CEO of Procter & Gamble. The two sides exchanged views on topics such as China-U.S. economic and trade relations and P&G's development in China.

Wang Shouwen stated that the essence of China-U.S. economic and trade relations is mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. A stable, healthy, and sustainable economic and trade relationship between China and the United States serves the fundamental interests of both countries and is also the common expectation of the international community. Currently and in the future, the common interests in the economic and trade field between China and the United States are not diminishing but increasing.

We will follow the plans laid out at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and take practical and robust measures to promote industrial upgrading, vigorously boost consumption, sustain and consolidate the upward momentum of economic recovery, and consistently provide new opportunities for the world through our own new development. We welcome U.S. companies, including P&G, to continue investing in China and share in the benefits of open development and the vast market.

Zhan Muren stated that China-U.S. cooperation benefits both sides and the world at large. Procter & Gamble places high importance on the Chinese market and appreciates China's proactive measures to expand openness and optimize the business environment. The company is committed to deepening its roots in the Chinese market to provide better products and services for Chinese consumers.
