On one hand, while the global economy has gradually recovered from the impact of the pandemic, geopolitical conflicts, trade protectionism, and other unstable factors persist, creating uncertainties in international market demand. However, with the accelerated global push toward digital transformation, the demand for IT services, digital solutions, and other outsourcing services continues to rise, offering vast market potential for the development of China's service outsourcing industry. On the other hand, emerging economies are increasingly gaining prominence in the global service outsourcing market. Traditional powerhouses like India and the Philippines continue to consolidate their advantages, while emerging markets such as Vietnam and Malaysia are actively expanding their service outsourcing sectors, leveraging competitive labor costs to participate in international competition.

Under such international circumstances, can China's service outsourcing industry continue its growth momentum and achieve further success? Zheng Wei's answer is affirmative. In his view, in the coming year, China's service outsourcing industry is expected to achieve new and significant breakthroughs in several key areas, with four aspects deserving particular attention:

Firstly, the emerging digital service outsourcing will accelerate its development. From a global perspective, with the rapid adoption of new-generation information technologies, the transformation of the service outsourcing industry towards digitalization and intelligence has become an inevitable trend. China's development of emerging digital service outsourcing started relatively early, and with the nation's strong emphasis on the transformation and upgrading of service outsourcing, it has accurately grasped future development trends. This has laid a solid foundation for enhancing the overall competitiveness of China's service outsourcing industry and further expanding its share in the international market.

Secondly, it brings opportunities for the development of service outsourcing. As a high-level global free trade agreement, it represents a significant boon for China's service outsourcing industry. The scope, willingness, and level of cooperation between China and countries within the region are expected to see substantial improvement. In the coming years, it is poised to act as an accelerator for promoting international cooperation in service outsourcing within the region.

Third, the effects of industrial transformation and upgrading will become more evident. In the coming year, China's service outsourcing industry will see further structural optimization. The proportion of business with higher knowledge content, technical sophistication, and added value will continue to rise.
