The China-Russia relationship is underpinned by strong endogenous dynamics and unique strategic value. It does not target any third party, nor will it be affected by any third party. The development strategies and foreign policies of China and Russia are long-term in nature. No matter how the international landscape may evolve, the China-Russia relationship will continue to move forward steadily, contributing to the development and prosperity of both countries and bringing stability and positive energy to international relations.

Putin stated that Russia highly values its relations with China and looks forward to maintaining high-level exchanges with China in the new year, deepening practical cooperation, and jointly commemorating the anniversaries of the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War and the Chinese People's War of Resistance. Developing relations with China is a strategic choice made by Russia with a long-term perspective, not a temporary expedient, unaffected by short-term events or external factors. Under the current circumstances, maintaining close communication between Russia and China aligns with the spirit of the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era between the two countries and will also send a positive signal that Russia and China play a stabilizing role in international affairs.

Putin provided an update on the latest developments in Russian-American contacts and outlined Russia's principled stance on the Ukraine crisis, emphasizing Russia's commitment to addressing the root causes of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and achieving a sustainable and lasting peace solution.

习近平强调，乌克兰危机全面升级之初，我就提出解决危机的"四个应该"等基本主张。去年月，中国同巴西一道，会同部分全球南方国家成立乌克兰危机"和平之友"小组，为推动危机政治解决营造氛围、积累条件。中方乐见俄罗斯及有关各方为化解危机作出积极努力。
