It is expected that in the next two days (from the day to the day), the range of precipitation in the south will decrease, and there will be a brief pause in rainfall in some areas of Jiangnan and South China. However, from tomorrow night, the rainfall in the south will increase again. In addition, the cold air will weaken next week, and a significant warming trend will begin in the central and eastern regions, with most areas experiencing a cumulative temperature rise of more than ℃.

Next week, a significant warming trend will begin in the central and eastern regions, with increasing day-night temperature differences between the north and south.

Yesterday marked the beginning of the "Eighth Nine," bringing us one step closer to the end of the coldest period of winter. It is expected that during this "Eighth Nine," temperatures will start low and then rise, with a significant warming trend anticipated across both the southern and northern regions of China next week.

It is expected that next week, the cold air will weaken, and a warm ridge will move eastward, initiating a significant warming trend in the central and eastern regions. The cumulative temperature increase in most areas could exceed ℃, with the maximum temperature rise in the central and southern parts of Northeast China, North China, and many areas south of the Yangtze River potentially exceeding ℃.

Tomorrow, the northern regions will lead the way in warming up, with temperatures turning higher than usual; while the warming in the southern regions will be slightly delayed. Until the day to day, this round of warming will reach its peak, with temperatures in the central and eastern regions significantly higher than the same period in previous years. By then, the line of maximum temperature ℃ will move northward to the northern part of Liaoning, and large areas in the Huanghuai region and southward may experience temperatures of ℃ or above, with the chill fading away and signs of spring emerging.

The minimum temperature will also gradually rise, and it is expected that around the day, the line of minimum temperature ℃ will retreat to the area from northern Hebei to central Shanxi, with the minimum temperature in many southern regions rising above ℃. However, the increase and speed of the minimum temperature will not match that of the maximum temperature, and the temperature difference between day and night in both the south and north will increase next week, with the temperature difference in many northern regions possibly exceeding ℃.

Next week's warming trend will lead to significantly higher temperatures across various regions. However, looking further ahead, cold air is expected to move southward at the beginning of the month, causing fluctuations in temperature. The public is advised to pay close attention to weather changes, as it is not yet time to put away thick clothing. Adjust your attire promptly according to the temperature changes.

In the next three days, frequent rainfall in the southern regions is expected, which may alleviate the meteorological drought in areas such as Guangdong and Guangxi.

Yesterday, the rainfall in regions such as Jiangnan continued. Monitoring indicated that some areas in the central and northern parts of Jiangnan experienced moderate to heavy rain, with localized torrential rains in Fuzhou, Jiangxi, and Leshan, Sichuan.

In the next two days, the range of precipitation in the south will decrease, with rain in many areas of Jiangnan and South China briefly stopping from tonight to tomorrow daytime. However, from tomorrow night, rainfall in the south will increase again. Additionally, over the next three days, some parts of Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, and Sichuan will experience snowfall, with heavy snow possible in some areas.

The Central Meteorological Observatory forecasts that today, some areas in the central and eastern parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the eastern part of the Northwest region, and the northern part of the Sichuan Plateau will experience light to moderate snow or sleet, with heavy snow in some areas such as eastern Tibet. Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of southeastern Tibet, southeastern Northwest China, western Jianghuai, northern and western Jiangnan, eastern and southern Southwest China, western South China, Hainan Island, and Taiwan Island, with heavy rain in some areas such as southeastern Tibet.

Tomorrow, some areas in northeastern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Heilongjiang, eastern Tibet, southern Qinghai, central and southern Gansu, eastern parts of the Northwest region, the western Sichuan plateau, and northwestern Yunnan will experience light to moderate snow or sleet. In particular, some areas in eastern Tibet will see heavy snow. Additionally, some regions in southeastern Tibet, western and southern parts of Jianghan, western Jiangnan, most of the Southwest region, central and western Guangxi, and Hainan Island will have light to moderate rain, with some areas in southeastern Tibet experiencing heavy rain.

The day after tomorrow, some areas in northeastern Inner Mongolia, most of Heilongjiang, the mountainous regions of southwestern Xinjiang, western and southeastern Tibet, the western Sichuan plateau, and northwestern Yunnan will experience light to moderate snow or sleet. Some areas in southeastern Tibet, Jiangnan, eastern and southern parts of the southwestern region, and southern China will have light to moderate rain.

Currently, there is a severe meteorological drought in Guangdong and the southeastern part of Guangxi. From day to day, the rainfall in these areas has been relatively significant, which is beneficial for alleviating the drought conditions.

China Weather Network reminds the public that frequent overcast and rainy weather is expected in the southern regions recently, so it is advisable to carry rain gear when traveling. Additionally, areas such as Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, and Inner Mongolia will experience rain and snow, necessitating caution against slippery road conditions that could adversely affect traffic. It is also important to take measures to protect against the cold and keep warm.

Looking ahead, at the beginning of the month, a new cold air mass will move southward, while warm and moist air will push northward. The convergence of cold and warm air masses may lead to another widespread precipitation process in the central and eastern regions. However, as the timing is still far off, the public is advised to stay informed.
