Chen Yiping has been arrested.
According to a monthly report from the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Chen Yiping, former deputy Party secretary and vice director of the Public Security Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is suspected of taking bribes. The case was investigated and concluded by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Supervision Commission before being transferred to procuratorial authorities for review and prosecution. Designated by the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Nanning Railway Transport Branch of the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is handling the review and prosecution. Recently, the Nanning Railway Transport Branch of the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region lawfully decided to arrest Chen Yiping on suspicion of accepting bribes. The case is currently under further processing.
