A journalist asked: It is understood that marine biological samples collected with the participation of Chinese experts have been transported to China. Can the Chinese side confirm this?
Guo Jiakun: The discharge of Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water into the sea involves many aspects and is a complex and highly specialized issue. To scientifically and comprehensively assess the impact of the Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water discharge into the sea, under the organization of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Chinese experts have collected various samples, including seawater and marine life near the discharge outlet, as well as the nuclear-contaminated water to be discharged within the nuclear power plant's discharge facilities. China will continue to work with the international community to improve relevant arrangements.
此前中方专家参与采集的海洋生物样本已于近日运抵中国，中国国内专业研究机构正在进行严谨、独立的检测、分析，并将及时公布相关结果。 China conducts independent sampling and monitoring of the Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water discharge into the sea, the Foreign Ministry details the specific situation.

郭嘉昆：2月19日至21日，在国际原子能机构组织下，包括中国在内的多国专家赴福岛第一核电站排海设施和附近海域，独立采集待排放核污染水、海水等样本，并参与采集海洋生物样本。这是日方落实在福岛核污染水排海问题上承诺的具体步骤。今后，对福岛核污染水排海的国际监测和中方的独立取样监测将持续实施，中方将及时发布最新进展。
