About new and additional models

● Applicants for a motor vehicle driving license for the first time

You can apply for a motor vehicle driver's license that permits driving urban buses, large trucks, small cars, small automatic cars, low-speed cargo vehicles, three-wheeled cars, small automatic passenger cars for the disabled, ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles, ordinary two-wheeled motorcycles, light motorcycles, wheeled special machinery vehicles, trolleybuses, and trams.

● If you already hold a motor vehicle driver's license and wish to apply for additional vehicle categories.

The additional vehicle types that can be applied for include large buses, heavy-duty towing trailers, city buses, medium-sized buses, large trucks, small cars, small automatic cars, low-speed cargo vehicles, three-wheeled cars, light towing trailers, ordinary three-wheeled motorcycles, ordinary two-wheeled motorcycles, light motorcycles, wheeled special machinery vehicles, trolleybuses, and tramcars.

Circumstances in which a motor vehicle driving license is not allowed

(1) Suffering from organic heart disease, epilepsy, Meniere's disease, vertigo, hysteria, Parkinson's disease, mental illness, dementia, or neurological diseases that affect limb movement, which may impair safe driving.

(2) Having used or injected narcotics within the past three years, or having been released from compulsory isolation for drug rehabilitation for less than three years, as well as those who are still addicted to long-term use of dependent psychotropic drugs and have not yet quit.

(3) Fleeing the scene after causing a traffic accident constitutes a crime;

(4) Committing a major traffic accident due to driving a motor vehicle after drinking or while intoxicated, which constitutes a crime;

(5) Driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or driving a commercial motor vehicle after drinking, resulting in the legal revocation of the motor vehicle driver's license for less than five years;

(6) Driving a commercial motor vehicle while intoxicated, resulting in the revocation of the motor vehicle driver's license by law, and less than ten years have passed since the revocation.

(7) Driving a motor vehicle in a manner that involves chasing and racing, overloading, speeding, or violating regulations on the safe transportation of hazardous chemicals, which constitutes a crime and results in the revocation of the motor vehicle driving license by law, and less than five years have passed since the revocation.

(8) Having the motor vehicle driver's license revoked for less than ten years due to a major traffic accident caused by other violations of traffic management laws and regulations, excluding those specified in item 4 of this clause, which constitute a crime.

(9) Having the motor vehicle driving license revoked for other reasons as stipulated by law and less than two years have passed since the revocation.

(10) The driving license has been revoked by law for less than three years;

(11) Driving a motor vehicle without obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license, and being responsible for a traffic accident resulting in serious injury or death of a person, with the incident occurring less than ten years ago.

(12) Having engaged in the act of substituting for another person in a motor vehicle driver's license examination within the past three years;

(13) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.
