The latest report from the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia shows that the trade volume between Cambodia and China reached $1 billion this month, a year-on-year increase of 20%. China continues to be Cambodia's largest trading partner.

Cambodia's total imports reached $2.5 billion this month. China remains Cambodia's largest source of imports, with Cambodia importing $1.8 billion worth of goods from China, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. Exports to China amounted to $700 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8.3%.

In September of this year, Cambodia's total exports reached $2.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%. The main export markets were the United States at $830 million, Vietnam at $280 million, followed by Japan, Canada, and China. Cambodia's primary export goods include garments, machinery, electrical equipment, footwear, leather products, and agricultural products.

An official from Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce told the media that the implementation of bilateral free trade agreements between Cambodia and China, as well as South Korea, along with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), continues to drive the growth of Cambodia's foreign trade.

Cambodia's total international trade volume reached . billion USD, marking a .% increase compared to the previous year. Other significant trade partners of Cambodia include the United States, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and Canada, among others.
