Regarding the talks between the U.S. and Russia in Saudi Arabia on the Ukraine issue, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated at a regular press conference that on the Ukraine crisis, China always believes that dialogue and negotiation are the only viable way out and consistently advocates for peace and talks.
China welcomes all efforts dedicated to peace, including the consensus on peace talks reached between the U.S. and Russia. At the same time, China looks forward to the timely participation of all parties involved and stakeholders in the peace talks process.
