However, after taking the stage, she only performed four songs and then left directly. Other festival guests followed the setlist. For her first song, the camera focused mostly on the backup dancers; for the second song, the camera showed only the audience; it wasn't until the third song that her performance was shown. This felt very odd and disappointing.

Ms. Xia also mentioned that there was no host for the entire music festival, and after Wang Xinling finished her last song, she simply said goodbye and left, leaving the audience confused. Many people at the venue were there specifically for Wang Xinling, waiting from 3 PM to 9 PM just to hear her sing.

In response to this, the organizers issued a statement of apology, clarifying that the number of songs Wang Xiling performed live was indeed as agreed upon in advance, and there was no early departure.
